Solutions to Problems

20x20 wax and oil on canvas
This is a piece that could really benefit from some good lighting! Overall, I am very pleased with how it turned out photographing. There is another painting that goes along with this; made in the same vein of mixed media/oil that has not been photographed yet... but will be up soon to follow this.

A few landscape studies

12x16" oil

18x24" oil

The top is a study of Albert Pinkham Ryder's work, whereas the bottom was done separately in plein-air.

Devoted to: Surface Area

ink and charcoal on paper
Each time I look at this, I cringe. Yet somehow people seem to enjoy it.... The important lesson to take away here is to pay attention to the temperatures of blacks and whites. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets worked back into some more during the winter.
acrylic and ink on paper
This piece was almost all processed orientated- only towards the end did I allow myself to break out of the parameters I had created. I am definitely planning on creating more works that expound upon this idea!

Begining of a new series: Unfulfillment

In progress still- I want to continue refining the image before addressing the issue of display

The first part of a series of work- watercolor on paper, made to look like prints
